Winter Fun

We're getting back into schooling this month with a winter fun pack. We began the month by working with the letter P for penguin!
Laila's getting much better with her dot paint!

Used play-dough to do some penguin counting.

Luke ordered them all by himself.
 Working on their P's
He thought of adding the hat for a personal touch.
Music time. Sam got in on the action.
What would a winter theme be without snow! (shaving cream) This always gets a little messy...okay a lot messy.
Color by number. I coded the bottom since he can't read the words. But he followed the code and did it by himself.
 Laila's attempt.
Worked on S for snowman. Sorted shapes and decorated the snowman.
Luke loves tape, so he decided to tape them on.
We also hung up our frosty (in the background)

 Penguin bagel
 Snowman patterns
Snowman snack. Decorating with sprinkles and raisins.
Paper airplane night at AWANA. Judging by his face, I guess his were fighter planes!
Wipe off board I got from Target. It has letters and shapes to trace. Kept them busy for an hour!!!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

We did these activities about a year ago when I was trying to get my blog going. I actually created the post and never published it. These are the activities we did for Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Using our rectangular shape finder. I don't think his face is quite rectangular.

Other activities included glueing pom poms

Using playdough and ABC cookie cutters

Stamping the tree with letter stamps

Small coconut tree. Luke is applying letter stickers.

Loving the mess. Him not me ;)

Dried, painted, and hung! So much fun and so proud!

Salt dough letters

We used these cookie cutters for the letters

Fall Fun

 Sam's loves standing!
 Decorating sugar cookies.
Washing off after eating the cookies!
 We did a marble painting!
The kids really loved this but it turned more into finger painting than marble painting!
